Your mission
Qblox is looking for a Head of People to help us scale the company (currently ~60 team members) while maintaining our high-paced team with excellent people and culture. As Qblox Head of People you will play an influential role in developing and supporting our employees. You will be responsible for the management of the recruitment process towards their talent development and retention. You will draw on your professional experience to help us expand our world-class team and build Qblox reputation as an employer of choice. This role is an integral part of a busy, growing business, and we are looking for someone enthusiastic and keen to work with the team and across the company to improve and drive change.
In this job you will:
Ensure the team at Qblox is well-equipped and comfortable with HR and culture-related matters
Manage the employee life cycle activities including talent acquisition, performance management, employee growth, contracts, offers, onboarding and offboarding
Work closely with the board to set up, implement and maintain a company wide job competency framework and associated compensation scheme.
Maintain and improve HR management software - keeping employee records up to date in a timely manner
Create, amend and review and communicate HR-related policies, principles, handbooks and process manuals
Oversee and manage the recruitment process
Sustain Qblox’s learning and development, including suggesting and arranging any required team training, advising on performance development plans and processes and coordinating review meetings.
Be responsible for and drive diversity, inclusion and engagement
Be a point of contact for any personal work related issues (e.g. grievances and employee disputes)
Build & maintain an effective HR team with external support where appropriate.
Your profile
For this job, we are looking for someone with:
Master degree
At least 8 years of experience in HR-related roles, amongst them in a leading positions
Previous positions working with NL labour laws, regulations and working practices
Previous experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
work experience in an IT or deeptech company is a plus
Experience in implementing personal learning & development initiatives
Ability to maintain a high level of discretion and confidentiality
Experience using Slack, G-Suite and HR platforms like Personio
Self-starter with the ability to prioritise
Excellent interpersonal, presentation and communication skills
Who is eager to grow with the company and potentially grow an HR team
Reporting directly to the CEO and working closely with office management and management assistance
