A tech-savvy Marketing Manager who isn’t afraid of deep-diving into cutting edge science to determine the key messaging takeaways. Not only are you a pro at analyzing trends and new data, but you can draw well-founded conclusions to help define an intelligent course of action. Bringing quantum solutions to market, our marketing evolves around daily technical innovation, creating narratives to hard facts with storytelling, into supporting the accelerating field of quantum computing. Ultimately solving large scale real-life challenges. 

You always see the bigger picture and love nothing more than to invent new and original ideas for branding, advertising and marketing campaigns. You have an entrepreneurial mindset suited to a rapidly scaling technology-driven organization and are passionate about product marketing and building buyer persona centric value propositions. You enjoy data-driven decision making in all respects and have a strong affiliation with both inbound as well as outbound marketing strategies. 

We need a marketing leader whose heart starts racing at the idea of building a global marketing strategy in a high tech industry, guiding your team and involving stakeholders to bring ideas to concrete plans and successful implementation.

Your profile

Strategy & Team Leadership:
Developing the annual global marketing strategy & marketing mix for the company in line with company objectives, using data-driven methodologies. Set and manage the company’s marketing budget in collaboration with company leadership, with a focus on demonstrating return on investment.  Analyze strategic partner relationships and recommend approaches for growth.  Build and manage the marketing team, including performance management and compensation.  Effective internal communications to keep all relevant functions informed of marketing objectives. Monitor and report on effectiveness of marketing communications.

Product Marketing: 

Coordinate the gathering of customer, competitor, market & product insights to set context for growth strategies. Proactively establish professional and productive relationships with strategic customers to identify & articulate the customer’s perception of value. Identify target audiences, building persona profiles, value propositions and develop marketing plans across different channels and segments. 

Marketing Automation & Analytics:

Establish closed-loop analytics with sales & customer support to understand how our inbound marketing activity turns into satisfied customers. Optimize marketing automation and lead nurturing processes through email, content, and social channels.

Campaign Management:

Drive an always-on Account Based Marketing program in close collaboration with sales and product roadmap and the design & brand teams. Manage new product launches and initiatives to support positioning, and drive net new customer acquisition. conceptualize, manage, and oversee multi-channel marketing campaigns across the lead and customer lifecycle leveraging both inbound as well as outbound marketing campaigns to drive customer acquisition.

Digital / Web:

Web strategy design, development, content. Owner of CMS management. Guide strategy on SEA & SEO including – AdWords/Paid Social/Remarketing. Maintain & strengthen our (Hubspot) CRM strategy. Nurturing our audience through awareness, consideration, decision making and loyalty. Determine social media strategy.

Skill requirements

  • Masters degree in marketing, communication, business or related field from a top tier university.

  • Strong affinity with high tech (quantum technologies)  to explain complex topics in an attractive manner

  • Proven track-record in managing a marketing team, developing marketing plans and executing campaigns (≥8 years: 2nd or 3rd position)

  • A solid understanding of customer’s perception of value

  • A fast learner that can hit the ground running and learn our products & services inside and out quickly.

  • A highly motivated team player with a creative, problem-solving & self-starting ‘can-do mentality’

  • Data & metrics-driven marketing mind with eye for creativity

  • Strong project management, multitasking, and decision-making skills

  • Excellent written, verbal communication & interpersonal skills in the English Language

  • International travel & cross-cultural collaboration is required

Skill preferences:

  • Experience with inbound marketing, marketing automation and CRM tools (i.e. Hubspot, Marketo, Eloqua)

  • Hands-on experience with CMS, SEA & SEO.

  • Willingness and ability to travel

  • Established press, media, industry contacts

  • Qualified chartered marketer
