Your mission
Qblox is a fast-growing organisation that delivers qubit control systems needed for quantum computing. With that growth comes the acquisition of a tactical buyer, who oversees the buying process from start to end.
As a Tactical Buyer, you will be responsible for the sourcing of our product portfolio which is assembled from over 4000 components ranging from resistors, chips, and FPGAs to sheet metals and special requests. We source these components either directly or through our systems suppliers
Qblox is rapidly growing, with the introduction of new products and challenges on the component market, the amount and complexity of our purchasing process are growing. We want to keep our stock minimal, but be able to ship based on the JIT principle.
In this position, you will work closely with the logistical department, R&D engineering, production and the sales department. You will report to the Production Manager.
In this job, you will:
Manage suppliers & stakeholders
Material Resource Planning (MRP)
Order intake analysis
Build, maintain and extend a sustainable relationship within procurement, logistics, suppliers and engineers.
Supplier contract negotiations
Support development needs from R&D department
Provide reports on performance and planning
Your profile
For this job, we are looking for someone with:
A Bachelor’s degree in the direction of Supply Chain Management (nevi 1 or higher), Business Administration, Engineering or Finance. Affinity with high-end electronics.
Have at least 3-5 years of experience in a procurement/sourcing or commercial (related) role, ideally in a technology-intensive industry.
