As the Head of Sales at Qblox, you'll spearhead the execution of our sales strategy, mapping the course for selling our cutting-edge products and services on a global scale. Your role and responsibilities:

As the Head of Sales, you'll embody our commitment to understanding our customers and market dynamics. Through comprehensive market analysis and competitive assessments, you'll identify key growth opportunities and drive organizational expansion. Representing Qblox as a senior business leader at industry events, conferences, and trade shows, you'll showcase our innovation and solidify our position as a market leader.

Your ability to set clear direction is paramount. Leveraging user insights and data-driven strategies, you'll spearhead sales initiatives to penetrate our global markets and optimize commercial performance. Collaborating closely with management, you'll develop strategic plans and translate them into actionable sales operating plans, complete with targeted forecasts and resource allocations. Your leadership will be instrumental in setting and achieving annual sales quotas, guiding promotions, and ensuring alignment with key business objectives.

As a mentor and manager, you'll cultivate a high-performing sales team, comprising sales engineers, application scientists, and quantum success engineers. By defining performance metrics, providing ongoing guidance, and facilitating deal negotiations, you'll empower your team to deliver exceptional results. Additionally, you'll oversee recruitment efforts, develop comprehensive training programs, and refine sales incentives to drive continuous improvement.

Ensuring unparalleled customer satisfaction is at the core of your responsibilities. Through strategic initiatives aimed at enhancing customer loyalty and engagement, you'll reinforce Qblox's reputation for excellence and customer-centricity.

Collaboration with internal stakeholders is key to our success. By aligning closely with our marketing and operations teams, you'll ensure seamless integration of sales strategies with overall business objectives. Regularly monitoring supply and demand dynamics, reviewing sales performance, and optimizing the sales pipeline, you'll proactively mitigate risks and capitalize on emerging opportunities.

Experience, knowledge & skills*


  • A Master’s degree in a technical science; additionally an MBA or equivalent work experience is beneficial. A Bachelor's degree with exceptional experience will also be considered.



  • Minimum of 10 years of successful high tech commercial leadership experience, with a deep understanding of B2B customer and market dynamics.

  • A passion for field success and a track record of driving revenue growth through effective sales enablement strategies.

  • Proven expertise in strategic selling and negotiation techniques.

  • Strong influencing skills.

  • Effective leadership capabilities, inspiring teams and driving impactful change.

  • Demonstrated interpersonal skills, facilitating collaboration and communication.

  • Proven ability to plan and streamline sales processes for optimal efficiency and productivity.


  • Advanced proficiency in data analysis and performance metrics, utilizing CRM software for business management.

  • Optional but beneficial certifications include Certified Sales Leadership Professional (CSLP), Miller Heiman Group Strategic Selling Certification, Strategic Account Management Association (SAMA) Certification, Certified Inside Sales Professional (CISP)

  • Multilingual proficiency is advantageous.
