To further solidify the competitive position of our company, and provide a clear path for growth we are looking for a highly motivated roadmap leader with an entrepreneurial mindset and solid market understanding who identifies themselves as having a passion for customer value propositioning. The Roadmap Leader is responsible for balancing corporate goals with long-term market trends and opportunities, and for directing, establishing, maintaining, and planning the overall policies and strategies for the product portfolio.
This leadership position provides guidance and input to the R&D team members as well as the MSO (Marketing, Sales, Operations) team members on the tactical level. It is responsible for furnishing them with resources, tools, and uniform processes to execute their respective jobs. The Roadmap Leader role creates and manages the overall roadmap & product management process and oversees its effective execution. From a deliverables perspective, the Roadmap Leader directs, supports, and contributes primarily to making the product business case, market plan, and market requirements document (MRD). The Roadmap Leader also guides and assists with formulating a product launch plan and the value documents. The prime goal of the Roadmap Leader role is to continuously oversee the successful formulation and execution of the product and market strategies and to achieve better consistency in the internal application of the product management discipline.
The Roadmap Leader must be able to communicate well with both external and internal organizations. External to the company, the Roadmap Leader communicates and works with key customers and partners and acts as a representative and thought leader in the field. Internally, the Roadmap Leader communicates and works with organizational functions such as the various R&D teams, Marketing, Sales & Operations.
Key responsibilities:
Working with strategic customers
● Define the global most influential entities specific to your market segment.
● Map out customer/application breakdown scheme within your market segment
● Proactively establish professional and productive relationships with key stakeholders in the market.
● Represent Qblox at relevant gatherings/conferences, positioning us as a thought leader in the market segment.
● Assess, clarify, and validate customer requirements, needs, and goals on a consistent basis and keep track of this in the Market Requirement Documents.
● Maintain relations and application understanding with installed base.
● Support application discussions with strategic end-users during the sales process.
Effective Product roadmap implementation
● Define market trends for responsible market segments, bundle and describe user requirements over a rolling date range of 3 years, and rank your requirements in priority.
● Convert market requirements into high level product definitions, backed by a high-level business case to be agreed upon with the board ● Drive the making of the product business case and write the market plan including product positioning, competitor analysis, and value documents.

o Key performance specifications
● Liaise with the customer support team and incorporate customer feedback into product roadmap, continuously improving usability and competitive advantage
Delivering on the organization’s strategy
● Monitor sales and revenue progress of the product portfolio
● Liaise with R&D, monitor and guide product development progress and provide input on development dilemma’s
● Guide the MSO team with formulating a product launch plan, provides content and selection to marketing collateral, and provides the content to product press releases.
